Alex Velandia
Production Apprentice

Alex is the apprentice to our production mastermind, Gad. Both of them are behind all the props and specialty décor for our simple to sensational theme parties!

Alex provides assistance in our production department prepping and setting for all events requiring décor or physical labor. A native of Colombia, Alex came to Advantage on a part time basis assisting with event set ups. After 1 year he was promoted to Apprentice and joined us full time working side by side with Gad learning the industry from the dusty ground up: prepping props, painting, carpentry, lighting, staging, set up and tear down.

Alex is now in his 5th year with Advantage Production and his detailed knowledge of the various sites and venues Advantage works at enhances his ability to create the most impressive decor. Alex works tirelessly to ensure excellence in every undertaking.
